Care and Cleaning of USDOT Number Stickers and Magnetic Signs

The vehicle must be clean and free of dirt before the stickers are applied. This will ensure proper adhesion of the pressure sensitive vinyl decal. Small bubbles can be removed using needle.

Magnetic Sign Installation Prep

Clean the steel (magnets only stick to steel) area that you will be applying the magnetic sign with water and a mild detergent. Dry completely. Repeat this process weekly. Wait 2 weeks for new wax to cure before applying. 

Light Maintenance
Maintenance of USDOT Magnetic Signs

Once applied, vinyl is virtually maintenance free. Clean your vehicle as you normally would but avoid direct contact with the high pressure spray. Magnets should be removed and cleaned weekly.
